do y'all miss StackOverflow?
me? soooooo much broooo
since I was a 10 y/o, I've been into coding.
Now I'm 15 (16 soon)
it was so much fun to find answers of the things that were over my head.
replying to questions of others like an expert.
nowadays just beginners do is go to some ai chat website and ask for the code and copy-paste
some even lazier that they dont even wanna open that browser tab and copy paste
new programmers are cooked
thought AI will make better programmers
but it did the opposite
but its the people who needs to get blamed not the AI tho
i know some of you all might disagree that im against "revolution"
Nah, never, im never against the idea of "revolution". infact, AI industry is a huge revolution. BUT what's the point of revolution if people doesn't even know how to use it in the right way and kill their self-capabilities.
i agree with the fact that AI can just speed up things which saves a lot of time
but killing your full capability just for it is itself a huge mistake.
people nowadays treat AI like pizza when it was meant to be only the toppings on it.
On the one hand, you are right, it is kinda sad. However, those who fundamentally understand the problems/code/system will (for now) still have a big edge.
We just need to learn how to deal with AI. Instead of just using it blindly, we should rather learn from it. Guide it, iterate, learn, stay curious.
